For those with severe social anxiety, communicating with others can be hard. This is especially true or Komi, whose looks cause everyone to continually stare at her. Unfortunately this makes it impossible to talk to others. Now in High School Komi sits next to a boy named Tadano, who can 'read the room' and figure out exactly what Komi means through nods and gestures. After a fascinating conversation on the chalk board Tadano agrees to help Komi achieve her dream of conquering her anxiety and making 100 friends. Can Komi and Tadano defeat the odds and get Komi 99 other friends?
